Al-Mustaqbal University marked International Day of Women and Girls in Science with a special celebration held under the patronage of University President, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy.
The event brought together academics, students, and prominent figures from diverse fields to highlight the significant contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The day featured a range of activities designed to inspire and encourage women and girls to pursue careers in these vital disciplines.
Professor Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Academic Supervisor, delivered a speech on behalf of the university presidency, emphasizing the importance of increasing women's participation in scientific fields. He underscored that achieving gender equality in education and research is crucial for sustainable development.
The celebration included cybersecurity workshops and lectures, presentations on the experiences of leading women in security, and an awards ceremony honoring distinguished female lecturers from the College of Science and outstanding female students for their research projects and scientific initiatives.
