It is considerable to note the Bulletin issued by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research has been including Statistics related to Quantity and Quality of Research Output of Iraqi Public and Private Universities during the Years 2022 – 2023. It has showed the progress achieved by Al-Mustaqbal University over all Iraqi Universities in the increase of Research Output quantitatively as well as qualitatively for the aforementioned period.
Data extracted from Scopus Engines has indicated that Al-Mustaqbal University has managed to achieve an increase in the Research Output related to publishing in Q1 Journals by 51% compared to University of Baghdad, which has topped Public Universities, achieving an increase of 35%. In another aspect of the Statistics, Al-Mustaqbal University Research Percentage published in Q1 Journals for the Years 2022 – 2023, has ranged between 40% and 44%, respectively, being quite different from what University of Baghdad has achieved for the same period that has been ranging between 12% and 11%.
For his part, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University has clarified in a Statement released to the University Media, that the Progress accomplished in the Field of Research Output as well as in other Fields lays down great responsibilities on all Academics and Affiliates so that they could preserve what has been achieved, providing the best in the future. Besides, Prof Dr. Majdi has added that the University Presidency would keep on supporting all ideas and initiatives that shall lead the University to occupying Advanced and Prestigious Positions at all Levels.
