Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College has been constantly proceeding to support & encourage Sport Activities, especially those of Female Students & Women Sports.
It is considerable to note that the Female Volleyball Team of Al-Mustaqbal University College, has been constituted of students from all the College Departments, under the supervision of Dr. Waleed Khalid Abdul Hadi & Dr. Amir Ghalib Hassan, Academics at the Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences.
We are indeed glad to announce that the Volleyball Female Team of Al-Mustaqbal University College has managed to achieve the Third Place in the Volleyball Championship for Female Students, which was organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat University in Najaf, and convened during the period 22nd – 24th November, 2022.
It should be noted as well that the Tournament has been characterized with lots of active & positive features, such as the presence and participation of many University Teams, Public Attendance, and the Competitive Atmosphere.
Finally, we should confirm that participation in Women Sports Activities does indeed come within the plan set by the College to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically, SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being, SDG 4: Quality Education & SDG 5: Gender Equality.
