Part of the College Strategic Program that aims to effectively achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, the Opening Ceremony of Al-Mustaqbal Second Media Forum Dialogue was convened on Sunday 19th March 2023 with wide participation of Media Academics, Research Centers, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Interior, and Al-Waqf Al-Sunni.
It should be noted that a considerable number of Universities, both Private & Public, have participated in the Forum, including Al-Iraqia University, Al-Nahrain University, Mustansiriyah University, University of Samarra, University of Thi-Qar, University of Babylon, University of Sulaimani, in addition to a number of Private Colleges. We should note as well that the Academic Personality, Dr. Naseera Qadouri, University of Mostaghanem, Algeria has been among the attendees.
The Forum has discussed in two sessions 13 Research Papers, investigating Media Discourse in Iraq. One of these Papers has been submitted by Major General Dr. Saad Maan, Head of Security Media Cell, in which he has focused on Security Media Discourse.
We are obliged to note that the Deanship Speech has been delivered by Assist Prof Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie, Head of Media Department, in which, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College has thanked the Participating Researchers who have been honored with Forum Shields.
