This came during the ceremony ((the launch of the first national report on universities' response to the goals of sustainable development)), which was held at Al-Mustansiriya University on Thursday 19/1/2023, where His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the ministry and its universities and governmental and private colleges are committed to the development plan and its horizons the time period that extends to 2030 and work to achieve the largest percentage of response to its indicators and to meet the national and global entitlements
The committee preparing the first national report reviewed the indicators and results of the response of public and private universities and colleges, in which Al-Mustaqbal University College ranked first among private universities and colleges in Iraq after it scored (79) points. The college was honored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi. The ceremony also witnessed the presentation of a documentary film that included the most important achievements of Al-Mustaqbal University College in achieving the goals of sustainable development. The Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, explained that the college raised its slogan ((Towards a Sustainable University)) and volunteer teams were formed from engineering cadres, student activities and teachers Which has conducted many researches on addressing poverty, hunger, sustainable agriculture, good health, water, energy, justice, peace and partnerships in achieving goals and interest in quality education, in which it has achieved the highest indicators ..
