With the support of the esteemed Professor Dr. Hassan Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University College organized the virtual scientific webinar entitled:
"The Global BME: A Multidisciplinary Scientific Webinar"
The Scientific Committee in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University College, in coordination with a group of university professors from The University of Baghdad, The University of Babylon, and Duhok University, organized a virtual scientific webinar (via the Internet) on Thursday, 23/12/2021 and through the Zoom application. This came within the directives of the Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, Prof. Dr. Hassan Majdi, which aims to enhance the scientific and research cooperation between the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University College and the Department of Biomedical Engineering in other universities inside and outside Iraq.
The webinar addressed on a number of scientific topics within the subspecialties of biomedical engineering, including medical imaging using magnetic resonance technology, strategies for controlling the upper prosthetic limbs, and the applications of computational fluid dynamics (CDF) in biomedical engineering. In addition, tissue engineering and the applications of "Mimics innovation suite" program in Biomedical Engineering.
