Digital Revolution: Technology, Power, & You<br />Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer or a robot controlled by a computer to do tasks that are usually done by humans because they require human intelligence and discernment.<br />The digital revolution has already changed how people live, work, and communicate. And it’s only just getting started. But the same technologies that have the potential to help billions of people live happier, healthier, and more productive lives are also creating new challenges for citizens and governments around the world. From election meddling to data breaches and cyberattacks, recent events have shown that technology is changing how we think about privacy, national security, and maybe even democracy itself. In this project, we examine challenges in five key areas that will shape the future of the digital age: justice system, impact on democracy, global security and international conflict, the impact of automations and AI on the jobs marketplace, identity, and privacy.<br />We live in a digital age, characterized by a proliferation of data and growing global demands for accessing that data. Everyone needs to be connected to the digital ecosystem in order to engage with a range of content in real-time, whether for business, learning, entertainment or social connection. In order to support these needs, applications and infrastructure need to be continuously online. What underlying technologies make it possible for these applications to work?<br />
